 The freeze dried candy and desserts sold on this site are not created by or sold by the manufacturer of the actual candy. Deception on the original source or origin of these candies and desserts is strictly prohibited. Galactic Candy Emporium will never claim to be the original manufacturer.

• The candy that is used to freeze dry are authentic candies however, once the candy has been freeze dried, the texture and sometimes the taste changes so, the candy sold on this site has been modified by Galactic Candy Emporium We reiterate that these freeze dried candies are not produced by the actual (original) candy manufacturers.
  
  
•  When weather is a factor (i.e. extreme heat / humidity), Galactic Candy Emporium will temporarily halt the sell of any item(s) that can be adversely affected. We take pride in everything we do so, we will not take a chance that your product is melted or damaged by the heat.
  
• Most freeze dried candy items can withstand the rigorous handling of shipping carriers during transportation (i.e. shipping) however, there are several freeze dried candy items that are extremely fragile and can easily crumble when mishandled during shipping. We take every step possible to make sure you receive all items intact, which includes but is not limited to marking your package (i.e. box) with fragile stickers, wrapping all items in bubble wrap and the overall method in which we pack your order.
  
  
  
• Since we do not control the handling of packages, we are not responsible if an item is damaged during shipping the item description Each bag includes a moisture absorber to prevent humidity and excess moisture however, once a customer receives their package, Galactic Candy Emporium will not be responsible for product damage due to humidity, excess moisture, mishandling of package, incorrect product storage, or customers leaving product bags opened for long periods of time.
  
  
  
• Please note that ANY TYPE of freeze dried items (candy, desserts, produce, etc.) can be adversely affected by heat, humidity and air. Once opened, the contents of the package will immediately adsorb moisture and can very quickly change the texture of the product. Example: If you have a bag of freeze dried apples, every time you open the bag, the apples will absorb moisture, regardless of the surrounding room temperature and you're the apples will become softer and softer so, we suggest you consume your candy / dessert within days of opening the package.
  
  
•  Although freeze drying prolongs the expiration date for products (if properly handled and stored), Galactic Candy Emporium will never proclaim that products can last for several months, let alone years. Galactic Candy Emporium suggests that products should be consumed as soon as possible (once received). If a customer wants to extend the life of any product purchased, Galactic Candy Emporium suggests placing the item(s) in a mason jar with a moisture absorber.
  
•  EVERY machine is thoroughly cleaned after each use however, we do freeze dry some items that contain peanuts so, if you do have a peanut allergy, we recommend that you choose not to purchase any of our items. We value your safety more than your purchase and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
